Head - Finance, Exports F&L;

About the Role

As Head - Finance for Reliance Retail's Fashion & Lifestyle Exports business, you will own the export P&L;, working capital and trade finance for a quick-scaling, acquisition-led organisation. Reporting to the Head - Fashion & Lifestyle Exports, you will partner with Category Management, Sales & Key Accounts and Sourcing to ensure every commercial decision is grounded in sound financial planning.

You will manage working capital, inventory financing and trade finance instruments - including LC structuring and buyer payment terms - and coordinate foreign exchange exposure and hedging with the group. You will establish and maintain financial controls, approval matrices and audit readiness, ensuring reporting aligns with group Finance, Exports standards and escalation protocols.

As the business grows through acquisitions, you will support financial due diligence and post-acquisition financial integration for relevant transactions, and provide financial analysis and decision support to the Head - Fashion & Lifestyle Exports and functional heads. You will prepare periodic financial performance reviews for group governance forums - making you a trusted financial partner to the entire leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the export P&L;, budgeting and financial planning




- Partner with Category Management and Sales & Key Accounts on revenue, margin and investment planning
- Manage working capital, inventory financing and trade finance instruments (LC structuring, buyer payment terms)
- Coordinate foreign exchange exposure and hedging transactions with the group
- Establish and maintain financial controls, approval matrices and audit readiness
- Ensure financial reporting aligns with group Finance, Exports standards and escalation protocols
- Support financial due diligence and post-acquisition financial integration for relevant transactions
- Provide financial analysis and decision support to the Head - Fashion & Lifestyle Exports and functional heads

Job Specification / Candidate Requirements
- 15-20 years of experience in finance, controllership or FP&A;, with significant exposure to export or international trade finance
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) required
- Experience with trade finance instruments (LC, buyer credit), FX hedging and working capital management
- Experience supporting M&A; financial due diligence and post-acquisition financial integration is preferred
