Company Description Hindustani Tongue is a language learning platform dedicated to teaching Indian languages to learners of all ages in an engaging and practical way. The platform emphasizes speaking from the very first day, helping learners build confidence and real-world communication skills quickly. Instead of relying on traditional, rule-heavy grammar instruction, Hindustani Tongue uses an “Immersion method” that mirrors how people naturally acquire their mother tongue.

Learners are exposed to visual representations of everyday situations and guided to understand and speak through observation and contextual learning.

Role Description The Teacher at Hindustani Tongue is responsible for delivering online lessons that help learners start speaking Indian languages from day one using the immersion method. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting interactive classes, using visual materials and real-life scenarios, providing clear explanations, and adapting teaching styles to different age groups and proficiency levels. The Teacher will assess learner progress, offer constructive feedback, and collaborate with the team to improve lesson content and teaching approaches.





This is a full-time remote role that requires consistent availability, professional communication, and effective use of online teaching tools.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess robust Teaching and Education skills, with experience delivering engaging language lessons to diverse learners.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills and Training abilities to explain concepts clearly and guide learners through structured practice.

Candidates should possess Lesson Planning skills to design immersive, visual, and scenario-based learning activities that support progressive skill development.

Proficiency in at least one Indian language, with clear pronunciation and the ability to model natural, everyday speech.

Comfort with remote teaching environments, including familiarity with online classroom platforms and digital collaboration tools.

Patience, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centered approach, with the ability to support beginners and encourage active participation.

Relevant academic background in languages, education, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in online or blended teaching.
