- Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally.
- Assist with seating guests and provide menus.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Provide knowledgeable and courteous service throughout the guest's dining experience.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of food, beverages and menu items.
- Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations when required.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Follow established service sequences and F&B; SOPs.
- Coordinate with the Kitchen, Bar and Stewarding teams to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper presentation of tables and service areas.
- Complete mise-en-place and restaurant setup before service.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Handle guest requests and feedback professionally.
- Report guest complaints or operational issues to the Captain/Supervisor.
- Promote suggestive selling and appropriate food and beverage upselling.
- Assist with special events, private dining and VIP guest requirements.
- Follow all hygiene, food safety and grooming standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the outlet.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with guests and colleagues.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management preferred.
- 6 months –2 years of experience in F&B; Service, preferably in a hotel, resort or fine-dining restaurant.
- Freshers with relevant hospitality qualifications may also apply.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Guest-oriented with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Well-groomed and professional in appearance.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Passion for hospitality and guest service.
