Job Title : Azure SQL DBA
Location-Chennai

Experience required: 4 to 8

Troubleshoot:
Slow queries, deadlocks, blocking
Connection failures
Replication & clustering issues
Execute DB service restarts & recovery
Manage backup/restore, PITR, snapshot validation
Perform HA/DR operations (failover, replication monitoring)
Conduct DB maintenance:
Index rebuilds, stats updates, vacuum
Manage RBAC, credentials, encryption
Perform performance tuning & capacity planning
Execute patching & workplace refresh/cloning
Monitor logs and provide RCA

Preferred Qualification:
Strong working knowledge of industry-standards database management tools.
Demonstrated, successful experience working in a matrixed, multi-vendor technology workplace.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in urgent situations with high pressure and visibility.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
