Role & responsibilities
- Create 3D mechanical models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare 2D manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
- Develop sheet-metal parts, structural components, and mechanical assemblies.
- Prepare BOMs and maintain drawing revisions.
- Apply basic engineering tolerances, fits, GD&T;, and manufacturing standards.
- Assist senior engineers with design calculations and concept development.
- Understand customer requirements and convert them into practical mechanical designs.
- Coordinate with fabrication and manufacturing teams for drawing clarification.
- Modify designs based on manufacturing feedback and customer requirements.
- Learn and work on different mechanical design and product development projects.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers with 01 year experience are welcome.
- Positive knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modeling and assembly.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, welding, machining, and sheet-metal design.
- Basic understanding of GD&T;, fits, tolerances, materials, and fasteners.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to learn new design concepts and engineering standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Candidates who have completed academic projects, internships, or personal SolidWorks projects are encouraged to apply.
