Role Description The General Manager role at VYDA Hotels is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The General

Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services, ensuring consistent service quality and operational efficiency. This role includes managing budgets, monitoring revenue and cost controls, and implementing strategies to enhance profitability and guest satisfaction.

Manager will lead, train, and motivate teams, maintain compliance with company standards and local regulations, and collaborate with sales and marketing to drive occupancy,



MICE business, and brand visibility. The position also involves building robust relationships with guests, owners, and partners, handling escalated issues, and contributing to the pre-opening and performance improvement of new and existing properties.

Qualifications

Strong hotel operations management skills, including oversight of front office, housekeeping, F&B;, and guest services.

Experience in revenue management, budgeting, and financial analysis to optimize profitability and cost efficiency.

Background in sales, marketing, and MICE management to drive room sales, events, and brand growth.

Demonstrated leadership, team management, and people development skills, with the ability to coach and motivate diverse teams.

Proficiency in using hotel management systems, property management software, and MS Office tools.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for interacting with guests, owners, and partners.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and service standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications in hospitality or revenue management are an advantage.

Prior experience as a General Manager, Resident Manager, or senior operations leader in hotels or resorts, preferably within the Indian hospitality sector.
