Role & responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Finance &
- Accounts operations for shipping agency business

- Manage Principal/HQ reporting, PCA reconciliation, agency commission, funding, and financial performance reporting

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, MIS, profitability analysis, and management reporting

- Ensure effective credit control, receivables management, and cash flow planning

- Handle statutory compliance, GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, and regulatory requirements

- Monitor vessel-related expenses, PDA reviews, and shipping operational financial controls

- Lead month-end/year-end closing, financial accounting, and internal controls

- Drive process improvements, ERP utilization (SAP), and finance automation initiatives

- Manage relationships with Principals, auditors, banks, consultants, and government authorities
