Position: Quality Control Executive / Quality Checker

Location: Mumbai (Travel to manufacturing units required Pan India)

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a robust, confident, and responsible Quality Checker who can independently handle garment quality from fabric stage till final dispatch.

This is not a desk job and not a final garment checking role only. You will be required to regularly visit factories, monitor production, identify issues, take quick decisions, and ensure quality standards are maintained at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

Fabric Stage

- Check fabric quality before production starts.
- Conduct fabric inspections and identify defects.
- Verify shrinkage, shade variation, GSM, and fabric quality standards.
- Ensure approved fabric is used for production.

Pre-Production Stage
- Review PP (Pre-Production) samples.
- Verify measurements, construction, trims, labels and artisanship.
- Highlight issues before bulk production starts.

Production Stage
- Visit factories regularly.
- Conduct inline and midline quality inspections.
- Monitor stitching quality, measurements, finishing and workmanship.
- Identify defects and ensure immediate correction.
- Coordinate with factory teams for quality improvements.

Final Inspection & Dispatch
- Perform final random inspections (FRI) as per set AQL standards.
- Check measurements, appearance, packing, labelling, and finishing .
- Approve or reject goods based on quality standards.
- Hold dispatches if quality issues are found.
- Escalate major concerns directly to management / HOD.

Reporting & Process Control
- Submit daily and weekly quality reports as per protocols.




- Maintain inspection records and defect reports as per protocols.
- Track recurring issues and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
- Follow up on production progress and delivery timelines to be time-sensitive .
- Ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) deliveries without compromising quality.

Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of garment construction.
- Understanding of fabrics, stitching, finishing, and measurements.
- Knowledge of AQL inspection standards.
- Ability to identify defects and quality risks.
- Robust reporting and documentation skills.
- Quick decision-making ability.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Confidence to stop production or hold dispatches when quality is at risk.

Travel & Allowances When visiting factories outside Mumbai:
- Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
- Food allowance will be provided.
- Stay allowance will be provided (where applicable).
- Proper bills and supporting records must be submitted for reimbursement.

Important We are building a strong brand-side quality system.

Quality should never be compromised for speed.

The selected candidate will have full authority to:

- Stop production if quality standards are not met.
- Hold dispatches if major quality concerns are found.
- Escalate issues directly to management / HOD.
