Role Description As a Freelance Photographer at Colorful Memories, you will work full time on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, capturing events, portraits, and lifestyle imagery for a variety of clients. You will handle end-to-end photo assignments, including planning shoots, setting up lighting and equipment, directing subjects, and ensuring high-quality composition and framing. The role includes post-production tasks such as culling, color correction, and basic retouching, as well as organizing and delivering final image sets according to brand standards and client expectations.

You will collaborate with the internal team and clients to understand project requirements, maintain consistent visual style,



and manage schedules to meet deadlines. The position requires robust client-facing skills, reliability on location, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong technical photography skills, including camera operation, lighting setup, and composition.

- Proficiency with photo editing and post-processing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop or similar tools).

- Experience with luxury or premium events, portraits, weddings, or lifestyle photography is highly desirable.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to direct subjects and collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Reliable access to professional-grade camera equipment and related gear; familiarity with backup and file management best practices.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative vision, consistency, and attention to detail in luxury or high-end photography projects.

- Relevant training or education in photography, visual arts, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
