Role Overview
As a Freelance Journalist (Video Journalism), you will identify and report impactful stories, conduct interviews, create compelling video reports, and contribute to Attlas Wire's growing digital presence across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, investigate, and pitch original news stories.
- Cover breaking news, current affairs, business, politics, technology, sports, and human-interest stories.
- Conduct interviews with experts, officials, and the public.
- Write concise, factual, and engaging scripts.
- Shoot, present, and edit professional-quality video reports.
- Verify facts and ensure all content meets Attlas Wire's editorial standards.
- Deliver stories within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- Background in journalism, mass communication, media, or digital content creation.
- Robust communication and storytelling skills.
- Experience in video shooting and editing.
- Ability to work independently from anywhere in India.
- Excellent research skills and commitment to ethical journalism.
- Awareness of current affairs and digital news trends.
Compensation Compensation will be project-based and will depend on the scope, complexity, and quality of each assignment. Long-term opportunities are available for high-performing contributors.
