Quality & Food Technologist – R&D; / QC
(Canned Food Manufacturing Industry)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality & Food Technologist to manage product quality, R&D; activities, compliance documentation, and production quality control in a canned food manufacturing setting.
The role involves product testing, validation, regulatory compliance, process monitoring, and coordination with production, QC, and third-party laboratories to ensure secure, high-quality, and compliant products.

Key Responsibilities
R&D; and Product Development
Prepare and maintain R&D; and QC product recipes for current and existing products.
Maintain complete product history records and development documentation.
Coordinate with R&D;, QC teams, and related departments for product improvement and execution.
Support product trials, validations, and approvals.
Testing & Quality Validation
Conduct and report quality tests including:
Pack Test
Dome Test
Tape Test
Perform testing activities with area supervisors.
Verify and approve materials/products before usage.




Record all testing results and maintain updated documentation.
Routine Quality Checks
Monitor and check:
Product plastic pH
R.O. water quality
Material availability
Perform routine checks twice weekly.
Ensure quality consistency across batches and production stages.
Product Approval & Client Coordination
Conduct pre-production and post-production product testing.
Obtain required product sign-off codes and approvals.
Coordinate client approvals and documentation.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare:
Weekly checklist reports
Weekly summary reports
Product-wise monthly reports
Hard copy reports every two months
Maintain and update QC dashboards and records.
Ensure proper documentation filing and traceability.
Analysis & Data Management
Maintain:
Paste control analysis
Pan delivery reports
Monthly product comparison reports
Keep Government documentation files updated as per mandatory requirements.
