Role Description This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru is for a Flight Control Law Engineer with experience in helicopters and Veronte-based systems. The engineer will design, develop, and validate flight control laws for rotary-wing platforms, including manned and uncrewed configurations. Daily responsibilities include modelling and simulation of flight dynamics, tuning control laws for stability and handling qualities, and integrating control algorithms with Veronte autopilot and related avionics.

The role involves close collaboration with systems engineers, test pilots, and certification teams to support hardware-in-the-loop testing, flight test campaigns, safety assessments,



and documentation for regulatory compliance. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of control architectures and support troubleshooting, data analysis, and refinement of control strategies based on flight test results.

Qualifications

Solid foundation in Flight Control and Flight Control Systems, including design, tuning, and validation.

Solid background in Aerospace Engineering and Aerodynamics relevant to rotary-wing and helicopter platforms.

Experience in Aircraft Design aspects related to stability, control, and integration of autopilot systems.

Hands-on experience with helicopter flight dynamics, control law development, and Veronte autopilot or similar systems.

Proficiency with modelling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent) for control system development.

Understanding of safety-critical systems, certification processes, and standards applicable to aerospace platforms.

Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; relevant industry experience in flight control for helicopters is highly desirable.
