We're looking for a Finance Manager who can take independent charge of our financial operations. You'll own cashflow planning, cost discipline, and the finance team—freeing our CEO from day-to-day transaction sign-offs while he stays involved in big strategic decisions.
This is not a reactive role. You anticipate cash shortfalls, challenge vendor costs, enforce expense policies, and make sure every rupee is justified. You report directly to the CEO.
What You'll Own
Cashflow Planning & Visibility
Build and maintain rolling weekly and monthly cashflow forecasts
Know exactly what's coming in, going out, and when
Flag cash bottlenecks in advance and propose solutions
Prepare weekly cash position reports for leadership
Cost Control & Vendor Management
Scrutinize company expenses—question necessity, benchmark vendors, flag inefficiencies
Design and enforce expense approval processes with transparent thresholds
Review recurring costs and subscriptions quarterly—kill redundancies
Create a culture where cost discipline is normal
Payment Optimization
You decide who to pay, when, and if we can defer (CEO sets priorities and non-negotiables)
Optimize payment timing to protect our cash position
Coordinate with our accounting team on invoice and receipt management
Team Leadership
Manage 2 finance interns with clear expectations and accountability
Set standards and hold them to SLAs
Develop them while maintaining financial discipline
What Success Looks Like (90 days)
✓ Weekly cashflow forecasts are live and accurate ✓ Expense approvals happen independently—only big decisions reach the CEO ✓ Finance interns have clear checklists and SLAs ✓ Cost benchmarking is underway on top 3 vendors ✓ CEO doesn't ask about cash. You tell him.

Nice to have
CA, CMA, or MBA Finance
Experience in hospitality, travel, or property management
Familiarity with Zoho CRM or Power Automate
Track record of cost reduction and process automation
Personality Fit
Assertive and critical—you're comfortable saying "no" or "not yet"
Collaborative—you work with departments, not against them

Hands-on but systems-thinking
Thrives in founder-led, fast-paced environments
