Role Description The Field Response Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for delivering timely technical support and maintenance services at client locations. Day-to-day tasks include responding to service requests, diagnosing hardware and network issues, performing on-site repairs or replacements, and coordinating with remote support teams to resolve complex incidents. The technician will document all interventions, maintain accurate service records, and ensure compliance with Cyfuture’s safety and quality standards.





The role also involves regular communication with clients to provide status updates, explain technical findings in clear language, and support continuous improvement of field operations. Occasional travel to nearby sites and adaptable working hours may be required to meet service-level commitments.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in hardware, networking, and basic server or data center environments.

Candidates should possess practical skills in installing, configuring, and maintaining IT infrastructure components, including routers, switches, cabling, and related equipment.

Candidates should possess skills in incident management, ticketing, and documentation, with the ability to follow standard operating procedures and service-level agreements.

Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and internal teams on-site.

Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple field tasks and work independently.

Relevant technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or equivalent vendor certifications) is beneficial.

Prior experience in a field service, field support, or data center operations role is preferred.

A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline is advantageous.
