We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Event Production Manager with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the event industry.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in managing large-scale events, complete production projects, vendors, materials, manpower and on-ground execution. The candidate should be capable of taking ownership of a project from initial planning through to final execution and dismantling.

This is a hands-on production role requiring strong leadership, excellent vendor control, detailed checklist management and the ability to build and manage reliable manpower teams of different skill levels.

Candidates without genuine event-industry production experience will not be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Event Project Management

- Take complete responsibility for the production and operational delivery of assigned events.
- Understand the event brief, scope, budget, timeline and client requirements.
- Develop detailed production plans, schedules and execution timelines.
- Break projects into tasks and ensure every activity is assigned and completed.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive event production checklists.
- Track deadlines, deliverables, approvals and dependencies.
- Conduct regular production meetings with internal teams, vendors and contractors.
- Identify potential issues before the event and develop contingency plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

1. Large-Scale Event Production

- Manage production for large-scale corporate events, weddings, concerts, exhibitions, launches, conferences and other major events.
- Coordinate multiple production departments simultaneously.
- Manage setup, event-day operations and dismantling.
- Supervise large teams working across different areas of the event.
- Ensure all production elements are completed according to approved plans and designs.
- Work effectively under pressure and make quick decisions during live events.
- Take full ownership of on-ground production execution.

1. Material & Equipment Management

The candidate must have strong practical knowledge of event production materials and equipment.

Responsibilities include

- Prepare detailed material requirement lists for every project.
- Understand quantities, specifications, quality and practical use of production materials.
- Coordinate material procurement, transportation, loading and unloading.
- Ensure materials arrive at the venue on time.
- Check materials before dispatch and after delivery.
- Maintain proper records of equipment and materials.
- Prevent material shortages, wastage and unnecessary costs.
- Coordinate return of hired/rented equipment after events.
- Ensure all production materials are safely stored, handled and transported.

1. Vendor Management & Control

- Identify, appoint and manage reliable event production vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain a solid network of vendors across different production categories.
- Negotiate pricing, availability, timelines and service standards.
- Obtain and compare quotations.
- Ensure vendors deliver according to agreed specifications and timelines.




- Monitor vendor performance and workmanship.
- Resolve vendor-related issues quickly and professionally.
- Maintain strong control over vendor costs and commitments.
- Ensure vendors follow company standards, venue requirements and safety procedures.
- Develop long-term relationships with dependable suppliers while continuously evaluating performance.

1. Manpower Management

The candidate must have the ability to source, organise and control manpower of different skill levels required for events.

This includes

- Build and maintain a reliable database/network of event manpower.
- Arrange skilled, semi-skilled and general labour as required.
- Source technicians, carpenters, electricians, riggers, decorators, loaders, drivers, setup crew and other event personnel.
- Allocate manpower according to project requirements.
- Prepare manpower schedules and deployment plans.
- Brief teams before setup and event operations.
- Monitor attendance, productivity and performance.
- Ensure the right number and quality of people are available at the right time.
- Manage large manpower teams during event setup and dismantling.
- Handle manpower issues and replacements quickly.

1. Production Checklists & Documentation

Maintain detailed checklists covering:
- Pre-production planning
- Venue requirements
- Production materials
- Equipment
- Vendor confirmations
- Manpower requirements
- Transportation
- Loading and unloading
- Setup schedules
- Technical requirements
- Branding and signage
- Stage and structure requirements
- Furniture and décor
- Electrical requirements
- Safety requirements
- Event-day responsibilities
- Dismantling
- Material returns
- Post-event reporting

The Event Production Manager must ensure that nothing is left to assumption or last-minute planning.

1. On-Ground Event Management

- Be present on-site during major production activities and events.
- Supervise setup and ensure work is progressing according to schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, venue management, production teams and vendors.
- Conduct site inspections and production briefings.
- Manage last-minute changes and production challenges.
- Ensure the venue is ready within the agreed timeline.
- Monitor quality and workmanship throughout the event.
- Coordinate emergency replacements or additional resources when required.
- Supervise dismantling and ensure the venue is handed back appropriately.

1. Team Leadership

- Lead internal production teams and external contractors.
- Delegate responsibilities clearly.
- Establish accountability for every production task.
- Conduct daily/regular production briefings during active projects.
- Train junior production staff in event execution and checklist processes.
- Build a disciplined and professional production culture.




- Ensure team members understand timelines, responsibilities and quality expectations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCEMandatory
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the event industry.
- Strong hands-on experience in event production and execution.
- Proven experience handling large-scale events.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors and contractors.
- Strong manpower sourcing and management experience.
- Practical knowledge of event production materials and equipment.
- Experience managing complete projects from planning to dismantling.
- Strong understanding of production timelines, checklists and site execution.

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE The successful Event Production Manager will be expected to ensure: Right Material + Right Vendor + Right Manpower + Right Timeline + Right Execution = Successful Event The role requires complete ownership of production and the ability to identify and solve problems before they become event-day problems.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT

This position is strictly for candidates from the Event Industry.

Candidates whose primary experience is in general administration, hospitality, construction, retail, office management or other industries without substantial hands-on event production experience will not be considered.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
