Role: Snowflake App Database Administrator (DBA)

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid/Onsite) Experience: 3–8 Years

What You’ll Do
Manage and administer Snowflake environments for high-performance applications
Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries for performance and scalability
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
Handle data security, access control, and governance in Snowflake
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and application teams
Ensure high availability, reliability, and cost optimization of Snowflake workloads
Work on query optimization, warehouse sizing, and performance tuning

What We’re Looking For




Hands-on experience in Snowflake Database Administration (Application DBA role)
Strong expertise in SQL development, query tuning, and performance optimization
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms
Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Snowflake workloads
Familiarity with roles, permissions, and data security in Snowflake
Exposure to ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration is a plus
Solid analytical and problem-solving mindset

Bonus Points
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP
Knowledge of data modeling and optimization techniques
Exposure to tools like Airflow, dbt, or similar
