Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain AutoCAD plugins that integrate with Rulestream ETO, focusing on AutoCAD Electrical automation and engineering workflows. The role involves working on plugin development, customization, and supporting multiple AutoCAD versions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain AutoCAD plugins/add-ins using .NET APIs.
Support integration with Rulestream ETO.
Implement and extend:

o Managed APIs (.NET)

o COM APIs and COM DLLs o Wrapper APIs using ObjectARX
Assist in handling compatibility across:

o AutoCAD 2022 and newer versions
Debug, test, and maintain plugin solutions.

Technical Skills
Experience with:

o AutoCAD .NET API (C#)
Working knowledge of:

o LISP (AutoLISP)

o AutoCAD Base and AutoCAD Electrical usage
Understanding of:

o Managed APIs and COM APIs
Exposure to:





o ObjectARX (nice to have)

Domain Knowledge (Must-Have)
Understanding of:

o Electrical concepts not limited to:

Schematics

Footprints

Panels

Wiring and wiring networks

WDP, MDP files

AutoCAD Electrical project workflows

Basic understanding of internal database structures

Platform Awareness
Working knowledge of:

o AutoCAD 2022–2024 (.NET Framework – Windows)
Awareness of:

o AutoCAD 2025 Core/.NET direction for OS compatibility

Experience
3–5 years of experience in AutoCAD development or CAD customization

Nice to Have
Exposure to Rulestream ETO
Experience in engineering/manufacturing domain
