Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior SAP BTP / CAP Engineer with robust hands-on experience in designing, developing, and architecting scalable applications using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
The ideal candidate should be able to independently drive technical discussions, design end-to-end solutions, explain architectural decisions and trade-offs, and demonstrate robust practical knowledge of CAP and BTP services.
This role requires someone who is comfortable working on multi-tenant CAP applications, cloud architecture, integrations, security, and enterprise-grade application design.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using SAP BTP and CAP.
Independently lead system design and architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations.
Design end-to-end solutions covering application architecture, integrations, security, persistence, APIs, and deployment.
Develop and maintain CAP-based applications using Node.js and/or Java.




Design and implement multi-tenant CAP applications using appropriate SAP BTP services and tenancy architecture.
Work with SaaS Provisioning Service / SaaS Registry and understand their role in implementing multi-tenant SaaS applications.
Design and implement secure authentication and authorization using XSUAA / SAP Authorization and Trust Management Service.
Develop and consume REST/OData APIs and integrate CAP applications with SAP and third-party systems.
Work with SAP HANA Cloud for data persistence and application development.
Implement application deployment and lifecycle management using Cloud Foundry.
Work with SAP BTP services, including Destination Service, Connectivity Service, XSUAA, SaaS Provisioning, SaaS Registry, and related services.
Perform technical feasibility analysis and evaluate different architectural approaches.
Identify architectural trade-offs and clearly communicate the reasoning behind technical decisions.
