Role: Quality Engineering Analyst (ETL, SQLs, Python Programming, Mainframe)

We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer with solid expertise in ETL Testing, SQL, Python, and Mainframe technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating data across source and target systems, performing data quality checks, developing test scenarios, and working in Agile environments. The candidate will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data pipelines and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

Validate data movement and transformations between source and target systems.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.

Perform end-to-end testing of ETL workflows, data warehouses, and reporting systems.

Analyze source-to-target mappings and business requirements.





Develop Python scripts for test automation, data validation, and test data preparation.

Validate data extracted from Mainframe systems and ensure accuracy in downstream applications.

Identify, track, and report defects using JIRA/ALM.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.

Ensure data quality, completeness, consistency, and integrity across applications.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.

Strong hands-on experience in SQL and database validation.

Experience working with Mainframe technologies such as JCL, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and ISPF.

Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data validation.

Experience with RDBMS databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Salary: 3 - 10 LAK Per annum
