Identify technical requirements, deviations, risks, and value-engineering opportunities.

Ensure accurate interpretation of client requirements during the bidding cycle.

Base Design – review single-line diagrams (SLD), general layout drawings, section drawings, gas SLDs, and busbar configuration for HV substations. Ensure compliance with project specifications, design standards, and internal engineering guidelines.

Manage end-to-end techno-commercial bid preparation for AIS/GIS substation projects.

Prepare pre-bid queries, scope definitions, technical clarifications, and commercial impact assessments.

Coordinate with clients, site teams, sales teams, and engineering groups to gather required inputs.

Lead, guide, and mentor the bidding/tendering engineering team.

Allocate workload, review deliverables, and ensure timely submission of bids.

Foster collaboration between engineering, sales, procurement,



and project management teams.

Evaluate technical and commercial impacts of customer specifications and tender conditions.

Coordinate with clients and site teams to gather necessary design inputs and resolve technical issues.

Additional Technical Expertise

Exposure to factory inspection, FAT, or type test witnessing is an added advantage.

Requirements B.E./ B. Tech / M. Tech in Electrical Stream

Strong understanding of AIS/GIS substation equipment and HV system configurations.

Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and standards.

Good coordination and communication skills for client and vendor interactions.

AutoCAD or similar design tool knowledge is preferred.
