We are currently hiring for the position of Engineer – Quality (Sheet Metal) for one of our clients.

Education: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Industry: Sheet Metal / Engineering / Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication and quality assurance. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through inspections, adherence to customer specifications and drawings, quality documentation, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-process and final inspections of sheet metal components.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings and applicable standards.
- Identify quality issues and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Implement corrective actions to address quality problems.




- Work closely with production teams to maintain quality at every stage of fabrication.
- Maintain quality inspection records, audit documents and compliance reports.
- Support implementation of ISO/TS quality systems and internal audits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework.
- Support initiatives to improve process efficiency and product quality.

Required Skills & Experience
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Sheet Metal Quality / Quality Assurance.
- Positive understanding of sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis and ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of quality inspection and internal audit processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
