Responsible for keeping heavy drilling rigs and equipment operational.

Key duties include planning preventive maintenance, diagnosing hydraulic and mechanical failures, troubleshooting DTH hammers and bits, and ensuring site safety compliance.

Core Responsibilities

- Inspect and repair heavy mining drills, compressors, and crawler rigs.

- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on DTH machinery.

- Monitor DTH hammer performance, bit wear, and air pressure issues.

- Plan routine service schedules to reduce machine downtime.

- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers.

Requirements and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical or Mining Engineering.

- Proven experience maintaining surface or underground mining equipment.

- Deep knowledge of DTH drilling technology and pneumatic systems.

- Strong skills in reading hydraulic and electrical schematics.

- Knowledge of mine safety rules and standard operating procedures.
