Design & Documentation
Prepare and develop ELV/ICT design drawings including schematic diagrams,
riser diagrams, system block diagrams, floor plans, and equipment room
layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM).
Produce design basis reports, concept narratives, and technical
specifications in accordance with project requirements and applicable UAE/GCC
authority standards .
Support the preparation of detailed design packages, design calculations, and
equipment schedules across the following systems:
Structured Cabling & Data Networks (ICT/IDF/MDF rooms, LAN, WAN, fibre
backbone)
CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
Access Control & Intrusion Detection Systems
Public Address & Voice Evacuation (PAVA) Systems
Building Management System (BMS) integration – ELV interface coordination
Audio Visual (AV) Systems
Nurse Call & Healthcare Communication Systems (where applicable)
Car Park Guidance & Management Systems (CPMS)
Master Antenna Television (MATV/IPTV) Systems
Wayfinding, Digital Signage & Intercom Systems
Coordination & Technical Support




Coordinate ELV/ICT systems with other MEP disciplines (Mechanical,
Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) and with the architectural and
structural teams to ensure clash-free, code-compliant designs.
Participate in design review sessions and respond to technical queries from
project managers, clients, and other disciplines.
Support BIM coordination and contribute to federated model reviews as
required by the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
Assist in the preparation of authority submission packages for relevant UAE
regulatory bodies and respond to technical comments raised during approvals.
Project & Quality Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation in accordance with
Stantec’s quality standards
Meet agreed deliverable deadlines and communicate proactively on progress,
risks, or technical issues to the lead engineer or project manager.
Participate in internal design
