Responsibilities

- You will be working with the technical team to build our suite of data collection devices.
- The challenges that need to be solved are quite novel in this space, so a large amount of foundational work will fall under your purview, including but not limited to specification validation, system design, and system validation.

Requirements

- The Pragmatic Builder: You care more about getting reliable data today than building the perfect architecture for five years from now. You know when to duct-tape a dev board together to prove a concept and when to design a custom PCB to ensure reliability.
- Hardware-Software Bilingual: You don't throw problems over the fence. If the software is acting up, you are comfortable probing the I2C lines or checking the power rails to prove whether it's a firmware bug or a hardware ghost.
- Egoless Engineering: You are happy to use a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution if it saves the company three months of runway. You don't suffer from "Not Invented Here" syndrome.
- Systems Thinker: You understand the ripple effects of your code across the entire system and how it can constrain operations and the utility of the system.

Neocambrian AI is a venture-backed startup based in New Delhi, India,



focusing on robotics and artificial intelligence for industrial manufacturing. The company is actively using 11 technologies for its website, including iPhone/mobile compatibility and SSL by default. Neocambrian AI aims to enhance manufacturing processes by creating machines that learn, adapt, and improve over time, transforming the traditional factory setting into a more efficient and thoughtful space for production.

We are moving from prototype to production, and we need the person who will own the brain of our machines. We are a pre-launch, venture-backed company working at the intersection of AI infrastructure and the Indian industry. We are small, early, and building something that does not yet exist at the scale it needs to.

More in-person. Our business depends on a physical network of manufacturing facilities across India that partner with us to generate a specific type of data. Today, we have relationships with roughly a hundred plants.

Within two years, we need that number to be north of four hundred, spanning every major industrial vertical in the country.
