Deep Sea Resort Andaman Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician to join our maintenance team at our 36-room resort located at Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island), Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The electrician will be responsible for maintaining the resort's electrical systems, troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical equipment and installations.
- Key Responsibilities
Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs throughout the resort.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify the cause of electrical problems.
Maintain lighting, switches, sockets, wiring, distribution boards and other electrical installations.
Attend to electrical complaints from guest rooms and common areas.
Carry out preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Assist with maintenance of electrical appliances and equipment where required.
Ensure electrical connections and installations are secure and properly maintained.
Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies.
Maintain basic records of repairs and maintenance work.
Coordinate with the maintenance/operations team for daily requirements.
Follow electrical safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Requirements
Previous experience as an Electrician, preferably in a hotel, resort, commercial property or similar establishment.
Good knowledge of electrical wiring, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to identify and rectify common electrical faults.
Knowledge of electrical safety practices.
ITI Electrician qualification or relevant technical certification is preferred.
Hotel/resort maintenance experience will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently and respond to maintenance emergencies.
Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
