EHS Asst Manager Plastic Processing & Moulding Safety The "Operational Risk Architect " and "Workplace Safety Guardian " of our plastic injection molding facility is the Assistant Manager for Environment, Health, and Safety EHS. Building, overseeing, and methodically auditing an ecologically compliant, zero/-incident production ecosystem across all factory floors is your main goal. As the "Frontline Safety and Compliance Lead, " you assume direct, hands/-on responsibility for industrial ergonomic layouts, hazardous polymer waste streams, chemical handling safety, machine lockout/-tagout LOTO systems, and fire protection networks.

This position, which manages serious, high/-stakes operational risks like heavy/-tonnage mold handling crushes, reliable robot/clamp pinning accidents, chemical splash injuries during mold cleaning, high/-voltage electrical shocks, air emission drops, and expensive statutory shutdown penalties, is the cornerstone of corporate governance.

Responsibilities EHS Management System Framework Governance/: Ensure that the environmental and safety management frameworks for the entire facility are updated, maintained, and fully compliant with international standards Heavy Machinery LOTO Administration/: Create, evaluate, and rigorously implement specified machine/-specific Lockout/-Tagout procedures for nozzle cleaning cycles, mold changes, and machine breakdown maintenance.

Hazard

Identification & Risk Assessment/: Identify mechanical, electrical,



and thermal energy vectors before they cause harm by overseeing thorough HIRA and Job Safety Analysis matrices throughout all manufacturing lines. Lead the immediate reaction and investigation loops for near/-miss incidents, minor injuries, and property damage apply structured analytical methods to put long/-term preventive engineering changes into place. Environmental & Chemical Stream Regulation/: Control the handling, storage, and legally required disposal of hazardous materials, such as lithium grease batteries, waste oils, purge plastics, and chemicals that release mold.

Skills/: Industrial Ergonomics & Machine Guarding Literacy/: In/-depth operational understanding of machine guarding setups such as light curtains, pressure mats, and interlocks unique to linear robot grids and automated injection molding machines.

Advanced

Root/-Cause Diagnostic Engineering/: Excellent capacity to locate hidden chemical or environmental leak channels, recognize risky behaviors, and methodically examine physical workstation layouts.

Statutory

Regulations & Local standards Command/: Extensive knowledge of environmental emissions limits, factory labor regulation templates, and national and local industrial safety standards. First/-Aid & Emergency Response Instinct/: Excellent ability to manage dangerous chemical neutralizations, medical sorting pipelines, and prompt emergency responses in high/-stress crisis scenarios.
