Role Description This is a full-time, in office Duty Officer role based in Jabalpur.

The Duty

Officer will oversee day-to-day cinema operations during assigned shifts, including monitoring auditorium readiness, ensuring show schedules run on time, and coordinating with box office, F&B;, and housekeeping teams. The role involves managing customer queries and escalations, supporting safety and security procedures, and ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.

The Duty

Officer will track operational issues, report incidents,



support basic administrative tasks, and work closely with the cinema management team to maintain a high-quality guest experience. The position requires flexible availability across weekends, holidays, and peak show times.

Qualifications

- Operational and administrative skills: experience in shift management, basic reporting, and coordination of daily activities.

- Customer service skills: ability to handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and maintain a service-oriented attitude.

- Communication and teamwork skills: strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional cinema staff.

- Safety and compliance awareness: understanding of basic safety, security, and emergency procedures, with attention to detail in following protocols.

- Technical familiarity: comfort working with ticketing systems, POS terminals, and basic MS Office or similar tools.

- Relevant experience: prior experience in cinema, hospitality, retail, or customer-facing operations is preferred.

- Education: high school diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline is desirable.

- Personal attributes: reliability, integrity, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
