Executive Officer – Government Affairs

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Executive Officer to drive Government Affairs, Industry Engagement, Policy Advocacy, and Strategic Initiatives for the Eastern Region. The role involves liaising with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and members to support industrial growth, policy development, and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain robust relationships with Government departments, policymakers, and industry leaders.
Drive strategic initiatives for industrial development and policy advocacy.
Provide secretarial support for council and committee activities, including agenda preparation, minutes, and follow -ups.
Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare reports on key economic, industrial, and policy issues.
Identify and escalate industry concerns and policy recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Plan and execute conferences, seminars, roundtables, and stakeholder engagement programs.
Manage member engagement initiatives and strengthen organizational visibility and brand presence.
Support sponsorship generation, revenue enhancement, and achievement of event surplus targets.
10+ years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Industry Relations, Corporate Affairs, or Stakeholder Management.
Solid network across Government bodies, regulatory authorities, and industry associations.
Experience in policy advocacy, research, and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship -management skills.
Proven ability to organize high -impact events and manage multiple stakeholders
