Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically Group Legal, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint? We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Program within our Group Legal business.

You’ll get

Your team

You’ll be working in Group Legal, the central legal function within UBS Group AG, overseeing all legal matters for the entire group. It manages the legal aspects of the business, ensuring compliance, and advising on legal strategies.

India is one of Group Legal’s ’Strategic Delivery Locations’ (SDLs). The India SDL team based in Pune comprises of qualified lawyers providing legal documentation and advisory support to Global Banking, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Corporate Secretarial, Corporate Services, Employment Legal and Group Functions teams. In addition, the India SDL team supports the Group Legal COO team on Outside Counsel Management, Legal billing, and Business Management.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

- is currently in their final year of law studies and aspiring to kick-start their career in a financial institution, serving as an in-house lawyer within the legal department
- is willing to take on new challenges and committing to continuous learning
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
- can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
