Purpose

Asset Investment Group (AIG) Technical head is responsible for leading the technical engineering functions across civil construction projects. The role ensures design integrity, quality compliance, cost optimization while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering mandatory

Masters degree – M Tech preferred

Relevant Experience:

10 to 15 years in civil construction/infrastructure projects. Proven experience in handling multiple large scale projects

Technical leadership and strategy
Provide overall technical direction for all civil engineering projects
Review and approve designs, drawings, specifications and methodologies
Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
Ensure adoption of best construction practices and current technologies
Innovation- Explore current technologies, automation, AI applications, and remote monitoring for effective infrastructure development.




Market intelligence – Gather and analyse external data such as Market trends and competitor data/information

Design and engineering management
Lead internal design team / coordinate with external consultants
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards – IS codes, NBC and statutory norms
Review structural designs, geotechnical reports and construction drawings
Validate changes and manage design revisions effectively

Quality assurance and compliance
Establish and monitor QA/QC systems across projects
Ensure compliance with contractual specifications and regulatory requirements
Conduct technical audits and site inspections
Implement corrective and preventive actions

Stakeholder management
Liaise with consultants, architects and government authorities
Take lead in technical discussions
Ensure client satisfaction through timely delivery and quality standards
