Responsible for leading complete water-supply planning and engineering assignments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Population forecasting and water-demand assessment.
- Source and system planning.
- Transmission-main and pumping-main design.
- Distribution-network design.
- Hydraulic modelling and optimization.
- Pressure-zone and residual-head analysis.
- Pump selection and pumping-system coordination.
- OHT, ESR, GLSR, sump and pump-house planning.
- WTP interface and process coordination.
- Valve chamber and pipeline-appurtenance planning.
- DPR, BOQ, estimate and specification review.
- Technical review of drawings and calculations.
- Client/department presentations and approvals.
- Management of junior design engineers and modellers.
Preferred software: WaterGEMS, EPANET, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, QGIS/ArcGIS and Excel.
1. UGSS Design Lead
Responsible for complete planning and engineering of underground sewerage systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Population and sewage-flow projections.
- Catchment and sewer-zone planning.
- Gravity sewer-network design.
- Sewer diameter and slope determination.
- Velocity and self-cleansing checks.
- Manhole spacing and depth determination.
- Invert-level calculations.
- Longitudinal sewer-profile review.
- Sewage pumping station and lift-station planning.
- Rising-main hydraulic design.
- STP connectivity and terminal-point planning.
- SewerGEMS hydraulic modelling.
- DPR, BOQ and cost-estimate review.
- Technical coordination with survey, GIS, structural and MEP teams.
- Client and ULB approval coordination.
Preferred software: SewerGEMS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, QGIS/ArcGIS and Excel.
1. Hydraulic Design Engineers / Modellers
Separate specialists are required for WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS.
Responsibilities include
- Build and validate hydraulic models.
- Assign elevations, demands/flows and pipe properties.
- Network sizing and optimization.
- Pressure, velocity, flow and head-loss analysis.
- Scenario analysis.
- Pump and reservoir modelling.
- Network calibration where field information is available.
- Identify hydraulic deficiencies.
- Prepare model reports and calculation sheets.
- Coordinate model outputs with CAD/GIS drawings.
1. Sewer Network Design Engineer
Responsibilities include
- Develop sewer-network layouts.
- Calculate design flows.
- Size gravity sewer pipelines.
- Establish gradients and invert levels.
- Prepare manhole schedules.
- Check minimum and maximum velocity.
- Determine excavation depths.
- Prepare longitudinal-profile design data.
- Coordinate utility crossings.
- Support SewerGEMS modelling.
- Prepare detailed calculation sheets.
1. Pumping Station &
- Rising Main Design Engineer
Responsibilities include
- Sewage and water pumping-station planning.
- Pump-capacity calculations.
- Duty and standby pump selection.
- Static and agile head calculations.
- Rising-main sizing.
- Friction-loss analysis.
- Pump operating-point assessment.
- Wet-well / sump sizing coordination.
- Valve and pipework planning.
- Civil, structural, electrical and mechanical coordination.
- Preparation of technical specifications and BOQs.
1. WTP / OHT / ESR / Pump House Engineer
Responsibilities include
- Water-storage requirement calculations.
- OHT/ESR/GLSR capacity planning.
- Pump-house and sump layouts.
- WTP interface coordination.
- Inlet, outlet, overflow, scour and bypass arrangements.
- Pipeline connection planning.
- Structural and MEP coordination.
- Preparation/review of drawings and quantities.
1. DPR &
- Estimation Engineer
Responsible for converting technical designs into complete DPR and tender packages.
Responsibilities:
- DPR preparation and compilation.
- Executive summary and project-background preparation.
- Design-basis documentation.
- Quantity take-off.
- BOQ preparation.
- Abstract and detailed estimates.
- Rate analysis.
- Technical specifications.
- Cost comparison and alternatives analysis.
- Tender-document preparation.
- Coordination of drawings, calculations and schedules.
- Client comments and revision incorporation.
Experience with government DPR formats, SSR/SOR and municipal infrastructure estimates is highly preferred.
1. Survey &
- GIS Engineer
Responsibilities include
- Review and process topographic-survey data.
- Prepare road and utility base maps.
- Manage GIS datasets.
- Generate contour/elevation information.
- Integrate survey data with sewer/water networks.
- Prepare ward and zone maps.
- Utility and asset mapping.
- Coordinate DGPS/Total Station survey teams.
- Validate coordinates and benchmark information.
- Prepare GIS deliverables for DPR submission.
Software: QGIS / ArcGIS / AutoCAD.
1. Civil 3D / AutoCAD Design Engineer
Responsibilities include
- Preparation of network layout drawings.
- Sewer longitudinal profiles.
- Water transmission/distribution layouts.
- Pumping-station layouts.
- Valve/manhole/chamber details.
- Road-crossing and utility-crossing details.
- Typical sections and standard drawings.
- Drawing revisions and submission packages.
- Civil 3D profile and alignment preparation where required.

Responsibilities include
- Convert engineering calculations into drawings.
- Prepare plan/profile drawings.
