Role Description The Design and Development Senior Engineer will lead the design, development, and optimization of gears and transmission components for automotive applications.

Responsibilities include creating and reviewing detailed engineering designs, performing design calculations, and ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams for product development, overseeing prototype build, conducting testing and validation, and driving continuous improvement based on test results and field data.



The engineer will contribute to research and development initiatives, evaluate new materials and technologies, and support customer-specific projects and technical discussions.

This is a full-time, in office role based in Faridabad, requiring regular collaboration with production, quality, and R&D; teams.

Qualifications Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in Machine Design.

Experience in Product Design for gears, transmission components, or related mechanical systems.

Hands-on experience in Testing, validation, and analysis of mechanical components and assemblies.

Background in Research and Development (R&D;) for automotive or industrial mechanical products.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, ANSYS) and relevant design standards.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, heat treatment, and quality assurance practices for gears.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and reports.

Effective communication and documentation skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.

Prior experience in automotive or heavy engineering industries is an advantage.
