Position: Executive Tender (Assistant/Deputy Manager)
Job Purpose The role is responsible for preparing and submitting competitive tender bids, conducting commercial and market analysis, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and compliant tender submissions. The incumbent will support business growth by developing effective tendering strategies and driving operational excellence in the tender management process.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and submit tender documents as per customer requirements and timelines.
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of bid documentation.
Coordinate with Finance, Commercial, Logistics, and Sourcing teams for necessary inputs.
Compile statutory, legal, and technical documents required for tender submissions.
Maintain records and documentation related to submitted tenders.
Commercial & Market Analysis
Analyze tender requirements and assess commercial viability.
Prepare cost sheets, pricing models, and bid calculations.
Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis.
Evaluate freight, logistics, port handling, and operational costs for bid preparation.
Support development of competitive pricing strategies.
Tender Management & Strategy
Monitor tender portals and identify current business prospects.
Ensure timely submission of bids and tender responses.
Collaborate with Tender Head in formulating bid strategies.
Maintain tender databases and track bid performance.
Analyze winning trends and competitor strategies for continuous improvement.
Logistics & Operational Coordination
Coordinate with logistics teams for freight and transportation assessments.
Support evaluation of port selection, vessel planning, and shipment considerations.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure operational feasibility of bids.
Educational Qualification
B. Com / BBA / bachelors degree in commerce
MBA (Sales & Marketing / Operations / Supply Chain) preferred
