Description

We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technical Illustration Engineer to join our Global Illustrations and Homologations team. In this role, you will translate complex engineering data into clear, accurate, and visually engaging illustrations that support vehicle development, manufacturing, and homologation processes.

You will work with leading tools such as 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA Composer, Teamcenter, Vis-Mockup, and Adobe Illustrator, collaborating with global engineering teams to deliver high-quality visual documentation.

This role is ideal for professionals who have a strong understanding of vehicle systems, enjoy working with both CAD and visual tools, and thrive in a team-oriented, international environment.

Responsibilities
Create detailed technical illustrations for:
Vehicle assembly sequences
Engine and powertrain components
Homologation documentation
Convert complex engineering specifications into explicit visual representations
Use tools such as CATIA Composer, Adobe Illustrator, and 3DEXPERIENCE for illustration development
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to support design reviews and product development
Edit and enhance visuals using Adobe Photoshop where required




Ensure accuracy and quality of illustrations aligned with engineering standards
Work closely with global and regional teams to deliver projects on time
Prepare presentations and documentation using MS Office tools
Continuously improve illustration quality and documentation processes

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile Engineering, or a related field

Experience
2–6 years of experience in the automotive industry
At least 2 years of experience in technical documentation or illustration

Core Skills (Must Have)
Hands-on experience with:
CATIA V5 / CATIA Composer
Adobe Illustrator
Strong understanding of:
Vehicle systems (powertrain, chassis, interior/exterior)
Assembly processes and sequences
Ability to interpret engineering data and convert it into visual documentation

Good to Have
Experience with:
Teamcenter (PLM systems)
Vis-Mockup / 3DEXPERIENCE platform
Adobe Photoshop
Knowledge of:
Engineering quality tools (FMEA, Six Sigma)
New Product Introduction (NPI) processes

Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work in a global team setting
