Role Description The Daycare Teacher at Ipsaa will work full time on-site in Mumbai, providing attentive care and structured learning experiences for young children in a safe, inclusive environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising children during daily routines, planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, and supporting social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.

Teacher will communicate regularly with families about children’s progress and wellbeing, maintain classroom cleanliness and safety standards,



and follow organizational policies and child protection guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, assisting in curriculum implementation, and participating in staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in Day Care and Childcare, with a solid commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Development and best practices in early learning and care.
- Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to contribute to Curriculum Development and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Relevant certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage groups of young children in a calm and organized manner.
- Basic record-keeping skills and familiarity with safety, hygiene, and child protection standards.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and career development.
