We are looking for an experienced Database Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL to support an enterprise database modernization and migration project. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in converting SQL Server Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and UDFs to PostgreSQL, along with strong experience in MDX, OLAP/SSAS Cubes, SQL development, and database performance optimization. Key Responsibilities:

- Convert SQL Server T-SQL Stored Procedures to PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL.
- Migrate and validate database objects including Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and UDFs.
- Analyze SQL Server database logic and implement equivalent functionality in PostgreSQL.
- Troubleshoot data migration, compatibility, and conversion issues.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL scripts and queries.
- Perform PostgreSQL query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Design, develop, and maintain MDX queries and OLAP/SSAS Cubes for reporting and analytics.
- Support ETL processes, data validation, reconciliation, and migration testing.




- Work closely with application developers and business teams during migration and deployment activities.
- Validate migrated database logic and ensure functional consistency between SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Prepare technical documentation for migrated database components and processes.

- 4–5+ years of experience in Database Development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Proven experience in SQL Server to PostgreSQL migration/conversion projects.
- Solid understanding of T-SQL and PL/pgSQL.
- Hands-on experience converting Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and UDFs.
- Experience with MDX and OLAP/SSAS Cubes.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data migration, and performance optimization.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
