Job Title – Database Administrator The Purpose of Your Role

Responsible for managing Fidelity Brokerage’s Db2 on z/OS Platform along with Aurora PostgreSQL and Aerospike on AWS.

As part of this role, the DBA will be responsible for the below key responsibilities:

Providing Application Database and Replication support for a large DB2 z/OS sysplex environment

Providing Application Database and Data Migration support for an established cloud-based database infrastructure

SQL tuning and Performance on both Db2 and PostgreSQL

Maintenance of Databases – Utilities management

Providing 12x7 on-call support

Database Engineering The Skills that are Key to this role

Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database Environment

Extensive experience in SQL, JCL, COBOL

Experience in Qrep and IIDR replication products The Skills that is good to have for this role

Knowledge of DB2 LUW on LINUX/UNIX

Experience on CA Platinum tools

Expertise in distributed technologies (Linux, VSCode, Git, Jenkins) including AWS based Aurora PostgreSQL

Expertise in AWS concepts and services like IAM, SSO,



KMS/CMK, PG, PHZ, VPC, Route53, RDS, RDS-Proxy, Lambda, S3, EBS,CloudWatch, DMS, EC2, AMI, rehydration, etc. and provisioning them

The FAE India team is distributed across Chennai and Bangalore.
