As a Data Privacy - Senior Associate, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will assist businesses in navigating the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Within our Cyber, Data & Tech Risk practice, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you will grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills while developing awareness of your strengths. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions and embracing increased ambiguity.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information. You will use a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate current ideas and solve problems. By interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations, you will uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, contributing to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.
Responsibilities Providing strategic guidance on privacy laws and data protection regulations to clients across various industries
Developing and implementing privacy policies and data protection measures to safeguard personal information
Conducting privacy impact assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks
Navigating complex privacy and data protection requirements to confirm compliance with applicable laws
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive legal solutions and advice
Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and inform insights and recommendations
Upholding professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
Building meaningful client connections and managing relationships to anticipate and address client needs
Mentoring junior team members to enhance their understanding of privacy and data protection practices
Leveraging cybersecurity and privacy knowledge to support data breach investigations and risk control measures What You Must Have At least a Bachelor's degree
At least 2 years of experience
Oral and written proficiency in English required What Sets You Apart Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Law, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Statistics, Systems Engineering
Demonstrating proficiency in Privacy Program Development and Privacy Impact Assessments
