As a Data Privacy - Associate, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will assist businesses in navigating the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Within our Cyber, Data & Tech Risk practice, you will be a contributing member of a team, adapting to work with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting unique challenges and scope. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work.
You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information.
Responsibilities Providing strategic guidance on privacy laws and data protection regulations to clients
Assisting in the development and implementation of privacy policies and data protection measures
Conducting privacy impact assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks
Collaborating with clients to navigate complex privacy and data protection requirements
Supporting the creation of compliance training programs related to privacy and data protection
Engaging in legal document review and providing advice on legal matters concerning data privacy
Participating in the investigation and resolution of data breaches and cybersecurity incidents
Gathering and analyzing information from various sources to discern patterns and inform decisions
Upholding professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
Building commercial awareness and understanding how the business operates within the data risk sector What You Must Have At least a Bachelor's degree
At least 1 years of experience
Oral and written proficiency in English required What Sets You Apart Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Law, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Statistics, Systems Engineering
Demonstrating intellectual curiosity and adaptability in fast-paced environments
