TGT Social Studies

Key Responsibilities
Teach Social Studies subjects including

History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and Economic s to students.
.Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes
.Use innovative teaching methodologies, including maps, charts, presentations, case studies, projects, smart boards, and activity-based learning
.Conduct assessments, examinations, assignments, and projects to evaluate student performance
.Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports
.Provide constructive feedback and support students' academic growth
.Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and civic awareness among students
.Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning workplace
.Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events, training programs, and co-curricular activities




.Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student learning outcomes

.Qualifications & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science discipline
.B.Ed. degree is mandatory
.Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school preferred
.Robust subject knowledge and communication skills
.Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology
