Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented US Accounting Specialist with 2+ years of experience in US accounting processes. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of US GAAP, month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
Prepare financial statements and management reports.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies.
Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.




Analyze financial data and investigate accounting discrepancies.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
Support process improvement and automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
2+ years of experience in US Accounting.
Robust knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or QuickBooks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in US business hours.
