Role Description The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs across the institution. Day-to-day activities include implementing and optimizing ETL processes, developing and maintaining data models, and managing data warehousing solutions to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and accessible.

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements, partnering with analytics teams to enable insights, and ensuring adherence to data governance and security standards. This is a full-time,



on-site position based in Bengaluru, working closely with technical and academic teams to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Engineering and building robust data pipelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and designing structured, scalable data architectures.
- Candidates should possess skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Warehousing and managing large-scale data storage solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics and supporting reporting, dashboards, and insights.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language commonly used for data engineering (such as Python or Java).
- Experience with modern data platforms or tools (e.g., cloud data services, ETL frameworks, or big data technologies) is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in office in Bengaluru.
