About The Role We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in healthcare data modeling, integration, and analytics. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building scalable cloud infrastructure, implementing system health monitoring, and developing continuous integration pipelines. This role involves analyzing large healthcare datasets, optimizing complex SQL queries, and supporting data ingestion and transformation processes.
The Data
Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, healthcare operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver actionable insights and ensure compliance with healthcare reporting standards. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and MySQL, contributing to initiatives focused on value‑based care, population health, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in US healthcare analytics, particularly with benefits, claims, and eligibility data, is required. Proficiency in SQL is essential,
with demonstrated ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries.
Familiarity with modern data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake and MySQL, along with experience in creating process documentation using tools like Microsoft Visio or draw.io, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively across technical and business teams.
Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this role include analyzing large-scale healthcare datasets, including claims, eligibility, provider, utilization, and quality data, to generate insights and reports that support business and regulatory requirements.
The Data
Analyst will develop and optimize complex SQL queries, perform data validation, reconciliation, and transformation tasks, and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Supporting healthcare data modeling and integration efforts, the candidate will work with Snowflake, MySQL, and related platforms to develop data marts and analytics layers. Collaborating with data engineering teams, they will facilitate the reliable ingestion and integration of data from source systems such as claims processing platforms and provider databases.
Additionally, the role involves creating detailed process flows, data lineage diagrams, and system architecture visuals to document healthcare data workflows. The candidate will also be responsible for documenting healthcare business rules, data definitions, metrics logic, and reporting methodologies,
supporting the standardization of metrics aligned with healthcare programs and reporting frameworks. Effective communication with stakeholders across Healthcare Operations, Finance, Clinical, Quality, and Compliance teams is crucial, as the analyst will translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
