Delivery Agent

Job Summary

The Delivery Agent is responsible for picking up and delivering packages, documents, or products to customers safely, accurately, and on time while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver shipments according to assigned routes.

Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.

Handle packages with care to prevent damage.

Plan effective delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.

Collect payments (if applicable) and maintain accurate records.

Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.

Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.

Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.

Resolve customer queries professionally during deliveries.

Report damaged, missing, or returned items to the supervisor.





Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driving license (for vehicle-based deliveries).

Positive knowledge of local routes and navigation apps.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift and carry packages as required.

Basic smartphone and mobile app usage skills.

Versatile to work weekends, holidays, or shifts if needed.
