A Service Engineer for industrial suppliers provides critical technical support, installations, repairs, and maintenance of machinery at customer sites. They are responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, conducting troubleshooting, managing warranty services, and maintaining high customer satisfaction through timely, on-site service. Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning: Setting up, installing, and testing recent equipment at customer locations.
Preventative Maintenance: Performing regular, scheduled maintenance and health checks to prevent equipment breakdowns.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or software issues on-site.
Technical Support: Training customers on secure, effective equipment operation and explaining recent features.




Documentation & Reporting: Preparing detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and expense reports.
Spare Parts Management: Managing inventory of spare parts and generating service quotations for repairs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or similar engineering field.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in field service, technical support, or industrial equipment maintenance.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of industrial automation, hydraulic/lubrication systems, or specialized machinery.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships and explain technical issues clearly.
Mobility: Ability to travel frequently to customer sites, often requiring a valid driver's license.
