Position Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician / Engineer

Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Plant Manager
Experience: 2–8 years in electrical maintenance in an industrial setup
Qualification: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, motors, panels, and machinery
Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore operations in minimal time
Maintain and repair HV/LV panels, transformers, drives (VFDs), PLCs, and generators
Inspect, test, and calibrate electrical components and systems
Maintain documentation of daily maintenance activities, repair logs, and equipment history




Coordinate with production teams to ensure minimal downtime
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and company policies
Assist in energy audits and implement energy-saving initiatives
Support installation and commissioning of current electrical equipment
Work with vendors or contractors for specialized electrical work

Required Skills & Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering
Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance
Familiarity with electrical diagrams, schematics, and testing instruments
Valuable understanding of PLC, VFD, and automation systems
Knowledge of safety protocols like LOTO, PPE usage, arc flash, etc.
Basic computer skills for report writing and maintenance logs
