What is the role?

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will lead and contribute to the backend architecture, scalability, and performance of both Book An Artist and Wescover platforms.

You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining backend systems that power our marketplaces, APIs, integrations,



and internal tools. This role requires robust ownership, technical leadership, and hands-on engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

Backend Leadership & Ownership
Lead backend development initiatives across Book An Artist and Wescover platforms.
Own backend architecture decisions, technical improvements, and scalability planning.
Mentor and collaborate with developers while maintaining engineering best practices.
Work closely with product, frontend, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Product & Feature Development
Design, build, and deploy recent backend modules, APIs, and platform features end-to-end.
Develop scalable REST APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
Build systems that support marketplace workflows, mobile applications, and integrations.
Collaborate in Agile/SCRUM development cycles.
