This dual-responsibility role combines front-end business development with back-end sales coordination. You will be responsible for identifying current industrial clients, managing technical RFQs, and ensuring smooth project flow from order to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development: Identify and acquire recent business prospects within the sheet metal, stamping, and fabrication sectors in the Hyderabad industrial region.
Technical Estimation: Read and understand client engineering drawings (CAD) to provide accurate cost estimates based on material rates and fabrication complexity.
Sales Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between customers and internal production teams to track order status and ensure on-time delivery.
Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing industrial clients and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Backend Support: Manage purchase orders, invoices, and quotations using SAP or other ERP systems.
Payment Collection: Follow up with clients to ensure timely payments and resolve any billing discrepancies.
Direct B2B Sales & Business Development
Identify and secure new industrial clients.
Execute direct sales strategies for industrial products.
Meet and exceed defined revenue targets.
Conduct technical presentations to engineering teams.
Key Account & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary contact for key clients.
Build long-term partnerships with industrial buyers.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
Resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
Commercial & Costing Operations
Prepare detailed product costing sheets accurately.
Formulate commercial proposals and quotes.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
Monitor market trends and competitor pricing.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering is typically preferred.
Preferred: MBA in Sales, Marketing, or International Business.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience specifically in sheet metal fabrication or heavy machinery.
