Teaching & Curriculum Development
Design and implement engaging physical education lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Teach a variety of sports, fitness activities, and exercises to enhance students’ motor skills and physical health.
Educate students on nutrition, personal health, injury prevention, and sports rules.
Training & Coaching
Train students for school competitions, inter-school tournaments, and state/national-level sports events.
Identify and nurture talented athletes and guide them in their sports careers.
Organize sports camps, fitness programs, and extracurricular sports activities.
Health & Safety Management
Ensure the safety of students during physical activities and sports training.
Teach first aid, injury management, and preventive healthcare.
Maintain sports equipment and facilities in protected and working condition.
Student Assessment & Development
Assess students’ physical fitness levels, performance, and progress.
Provide individualized guidance to improve students’ fitness and skills.
Encourage participation in physical activities for overall well-being.
Administrative & Organizational Duties
Organize annual sports meets,



physical fitness tests, and tournaments.
Maintain records of students’ attendance, participation, and achievements.
Coordinate with school authorities for budgeting and procurement of sports equipment.

Skills & QualificationsEducational Requirements
Master’s degree (M.P.Ed.) in Physical Education (preferred) or a Bachelor’s degree (B.P.Ed.) with relevant experience.
Teaching certification as per educational board requirements (CBSE, ICSE, or state boards).

Key Skills
Expertise in various sports and physical training activities.
Solid communication and leadership skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students in physical fitness.
Knowledge of sports science, health education, and injury prevention.

Work Workplace
Works in schools, colleges, sports academies, or fitness institutions.
