Role Description The Content Archivist is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing, maintaining, and updating Raitech’s digital and historical content assets. Day-to-day tasks include cataloging documents, manuals, marketing materials, and technical resources; applying consistent naming conventions and metadata; and ensuring content is stored in the correct repositories and folders. The role involves reviewing existing files for accuracy, version control, and completeness, as well as assisting in the migration of content to new systems or platforms when needed.
The Content
Archivist collaborates with product, marketing, and support teams to locate missing information, streamline access to key documents, and maintain clear documentation standards. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented who can work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed team members.
Qualifications
Solid organizational skills, including experience with digital filing systems, content libraries,
or document management tools.
Attention to detail in applying metadata, naming conventions, and version control across multiple content types.
Ability to review, classify, and summarize technical and non-technical documents for easy retrieval.
Comfort with basic productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., cloud storage platforms, spreadsheets, project management or ticketing systems).
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work remotely and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage part-time hours efficiently, and meet deadlines consistently.
Experience with archiving, librarianship, records management, or information science is an advantage.
Familiarity with technology or industrial products (e.g., sensors, controllers, or similar hardware/software) is a plus but not required.
